  • Epic Big Bear Cabin Trip! Day 3!

    2011 - 01.12

A sense of sadness prevailed on the morning of the third day. It had been an amazing vacation, and the thought of returning to our normal lives just seemed.. so… depressing.  Nevertheless, we got up bright and early and had a big breakfast, began to clean up and took some group photos.

During the group photo, and even in the days past, Jesse brought up the notion that jumping photo is an Asian thing to do.  I have kind of a mixed feeling about it, but Shamin says she’s seen other nationalities do it.  Nonetheless, we did a quick photoshoot (with some jump shots) in the backyard with the whole group before splitting up.

Stephen, Chloe and Mando decided to stay to snowboard, so FunVeeOne actually picked up one more passenger (Tiffany)  for the road back.  After saying our goodbyes, we begin to head down the mountain.  Along the way, we found an amazing view of clouds in the valley and then a small hill for us to play on.  We stopped, frolicked for a while, threw some snowballs at each other, raced up a hill, did a music video to Mulan’s “I’ll Make a Man Out of You”,  and took some photos (yes there were jumping photos…FunVeeOne had Asians for passengers)…. Then we got in the car and headed home.

Erich decided he was hungry, and we all realized we could eat as well.  We made a stop at In N Out… So much better than that Eureka Burger in Redlands at the beginning of the trip.

All in all, Shamin and I rated this trip as an epic success.  We had such a great time and spent it with such great people. Now they can all be facebook friends (and real friends)!  Hopefully we’ll do another one some time soon!

We do have a lot of food left over…we may throw a taco party… ;)
